Welcome to the cyberspace home of the Minneapolis First Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are a multi-cultural progressive community of Christians from about 34 different nations. Our attendees have a deep abiding love for Jesus Christ and a desire to serve Him and our community. We want to update you on the fire that occured at the church the evening of December 30th, 2008. The source of the fire was a space heater left on in the Youth Ministries storage room. Actual damage from the fire was limited to the storage room and the kitchen which is directly above the storage room. Smoke damage however, is throughout the building. A professional cleaning and restorage company has been hard at work in the church since December 31st. Due to there work we will have our worship experience starting at 11:00 a.m. on January 3. Our small group Sabbath School classes will not meet until furthur notice. In the next several weeks we hope to resume these small group Bible studies. Thanks for your patience.
