For the last three years, the Warriors Adventurer club has taken on annual Mission
projects to work towards. In 2009 the club sponsored six deaf and mute children to go
to school in Kenya for one year. In 2010, after the horrific earthquake in Haiti, the club
supported a single parent Haitian family of five with school supplies and basic needs. In
2011, the club decided to make a long term commitment of supporting one deaf and mute
child all through school.
Samuel Wang’ombe is a 9 year old boy that is deaf and mute, he attends Ngala
School for the deaf in Nakuru, Kenya. Samuel comes from a family of all deaf and mute
members; his father was killed in a traffic accident leaving his mother to provide for six
children with no reliable source of income. It costs $250 per year for Samuel’s school
tuition, school uniform, personal needs and boarding. We the Adventurers have already
paid for Samuel to go to school for the year 2012, and we will continue to do so till he
completes school. 100% of the money we raise goes to Samuel’s school tuition directly
. We thank God for giving us the opportunity to make a difference in Samuel’s life. It
is such a blessing to be able to give, for God loves a cheerful giver; 2 Corinthians 9:7.
Your donations to support Samuel are welcome.
